May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
(Attributed to Saint Therese of Lisieux)
I have posted this prayer before, maybe more than once. I used it as the prayer after my sermon last Sunday.
I come back to these words over and over again and I often pray them for myself, especially when I am feeling weary or discouraged.
This week I am grateful for good friends (and for a friendship renewed) and I am especially thankful for friends who make me laugh and who help me to keep it all in perspective.
(and for coffee… obviously).
